1. Program Overview:
A comprehensive and accredited professional and applied program extending over 12 months (a full year), with a total of 192 accredited hours, aimed at enabling writers, authors, translators, and content creators to acquire the narrative and artistic skills required to write various literary and creative genres in English. The program covers the foundations of creative writing, developing narrative voice and points of view, building science-fiction and fantasy worlds, drawing inspiration from myths and folklore, techniques of dialogue writing and character development, structuring short stories and historical novels, copywriting, screenplay and scene writing, comedy, horror and travel literature, editing and reviewing creative works, targeting different age groups, and ultimately strategies for publishing and participating on literary platforms.
2. Key Objectives:
- Mastering the elements of narrative construction: understanding techniques for plot development, character creation, generating narrative voice, and controlling different points of view.
- Building and developing fictional worlds: acquiring skills in constructing spatial and temporal settings (Setting & World-Building) in science fiction, horror, and mythology.
- Developing dialogue and scene-writing skills: mastering lively and expressive dialogue and the fundamentals of scene and screenplay writing for the screen, documentaries, and animation.
- Diversifying literary and applied genres: becoming proficient in writing short stories, memoirs, travel literature, humor and satire, and promotional and advertising texts (Copywriting).
- Considering age groups and target audiences: adapting linguistic and narrative style to address different groups (children, young adults/youth, and adults).
- Professionalism in revision, editing, and publishing: applying editorial standards to refine drafts and understanding print and digital publishing mechanisms and the marketing of creative works.

5. Organizational Structure and Assessment System:
- Duration and sessions: 12 months (evening period), at a rate of two lectures per week, two hours per lecture = 120 direct interactive training hours through 60 lectures.
- Language of study and delivery method: English | fully remote interactive training (Online).
- Distribution of accredited hours (192 hours):
· 120 hours: direct interactive online lectures and live writing workshops.
· 40 hours: required and free readings and international narrative models.
· 16 hours: chapter questions and assessment and self-training activities.
· 10 hours: presentations and critical discussions of texts.
· 6 hours: final review and program completion examination.
- Attendance and assessment requirements: attendance of no less than 75% of the direct lectures, and completion of continuous writing assignments and literary applications.
- Certificate and final project: the graduate is awarded a Diploma in English for Creative Writing after passing the electronic examination and submitting a completed creative work or portfolio in English (a short-story collection, screenplay, or chapters from a novel).
