Hormone Health Nutritionist Diploma

1. Program Overview:

An accredited professional and applied program extending over 3 months (80 hours of approved study load), aimed at preparing and qualifying nutrition specialists and healthcare practitioners to understand the complex interactions between diet and the endocrine system and to regulate hormonal balance in the body. The program covers hormone physiology, causes and symptoms of hormonal imbalances, the effects of nutrients, fermented foods and intermittent fasting, anti-inflammatory diets, management of stress, sleep disorders and circadian rhythms, prevention of exposure to endocrine disruptors, through to designing individualized therapeutic nutrition protocols, clinical communication techniques, and patient support and follow-up.


2. Key Objectives:

  • Understanding endocrinology and hormonal balance: understanding hormone mechanisms of action, causes of hormonal imbalance, and the effects of macronutrients and micronutrients on hormonal signaling.
  • Applying functional nutritional interventions: utilizing fermented foods and probiotics, intermittent fasting protocols, meal timing regulation, and anti-inflammatory dietary patterns.
  • Managing lifestyle and the biological environment: applying stress-reduction techniques, regulating sleep quality and circadian rhythms, and reducing exposure to substances associated with endocrine disruption and cancer.
  • Clinical assessment and therapeutic program design: analyzing clinical symptoms and signs, developing individualized therapeutic nutrition programs for each case, and mastering interviewing and motivational skills to support patient adherence.

5. Organizational Structure and Assessment System:

  • Duration and sessions: 3 months (evening period), at a rate of two lectures per week, two hours per lecture.
  • Language of study and delivery method: Arabic and English | fully remote interactive training (Online).
  • Distribution of credit hours (80 hours):

50 hours: live and interactive online lectures.

20 hours: required and open readings.

7 hours: chapter questions and self-assessment.

3 hours: final review and program completion examination.

  • Attendance and assessment requirements: attendance of no less than 75% of the lectures, and completion of periodic assignments and examinations.
  • Certificate and final project: the graduate is awarded a Diploma in Therapeutic Nutrition (Hormone Health Nutritionist) after passing the final online examination consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions + 5 practical and applied case questions.
