1. Program Overview:

An accredited professional and applied program extending over 3 months (80 hours of approved study load), aimed at preparing and qualifying banking, financial, and technical professionals to understand and lead digital transformation in the financial sector. The program covers the integrated Fintech ecosystem, starting with payment gateways and electronic wallets, blockchain technologies and digital assets, lending and crowdfunding platforms, digital insurance (InsurTech), through to regulatory compliance technologies (RegTech), artificial intelligence analytics, and financial cybersecurity standards.


2. Key Objectives:

  •         Understanding financial digital transformation: understanding the fundamental differences between traditional and modern banking models, and the role of startups and regulatory authorities.

  •         Mastering modern payment and financing solutions: becoming familiar with NFC/QR payment systems, peer-to-peer lending platforms (P2P Lending), and alternative credit scoring.

  •         Utilizing blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies: understanding smart contracts, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC), and applications of predictive modeling and financial fraud detection.

  •         Managing governance and cyber risks: applying and automating compliance frameworks (RegTech), Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), and protecting financial institutions' data against cyber threats.

5. Organizational Structure and Assessment System:

  •         Duration and sessions: 3 months (evening period), at a rate of two lectures per week (two hours per lecture).

  •         Language of study and delivery method: Arabic and English | fully remote interactive training (Online).

  •         Distribution of credit hours (80 hours):

·         48 hours: live interactive lectures.

·         20 hours: required readings and open resources.

·         8 hours: chapter questions and self-assessment.

·         4 hours: final review and graduation project.

  •         Attendance and assessment requirements: attendance of no less than 75% of the lectures, and successful completion of assignments and periodic examinations.

  •         Certificate and graduation project: the graduate is awarded a Professional Diploma in Financial Technology (Fintech) after completing and designing an integrated Fintech solution/product and passing the online examination.
