1. Program Overview:
An advanced professional and applied program extending over 3 months (80 accredited study-load hours), aimed at enabling journalists, reporters, and content creators to master the complete media and television production cycle relying entirely on the smartphone. The program covers adjusting manual and advanced phone-camera settings; using filming accessories (Gimbal stabilizers, lenses, and portable lighting); sound-engineering and noise-isolation techniques; professional editing through smartphone applications such as CapCut and LumaFusion; producing field news reports and stand-ups; high-quality live broadcasting for channels and platforms; employing artificial intelligence to improve quality and transcribe texts; and strategies for building the professional identity of the field journalist.
2. Key Objectives:
- Understanding the concepts and environment of Mobile Journalism (MOJO): Understanding the capabilities of smartphones in breaking the monopoly of traditional cameras and rapidly producing news and digital stories.
- Mastering technical settings and professional filming: Adjusting exposure, focus, frame rate (FPS), visual-composition rules, and using motion stabilizers (Gimbals) and economical lighting sources.
- Sound engineering and field recording: Selecting and using suitable mobile microphones and applying noise-reduction techniques to ensure sound clarity in challenging filming environments.
- Integrated editing and production through smart applications: Editing video and adding effects, captions, and music through professional editing applications (CapCut / LumaFusion).
- Managing live broadcasting and employing artificial intelligence: Carrying out live coverage (Live Streaming) for satellite stations and platforms and using AI tools to improve audio and image quality and automatically transcribe interviews.

- Duration and Schedule: 3 months (evening period), at a rate of two lectures per week, two hours per lecture = 25 lectures / 50 direct interactive hours.
- Training Language and Delivery Method: Arabic language | Fully online interactive and applied training (Online).
- Distribution of Accredited Hours (80 total hours):
50 hours: Direct and recorded online lectures.
20 hours: Practical applications and field training using the mobile phone.
7 hours: Analysis and review of mobile-filmed journalistic reports globally and locally.
3 hours: Evaluation and discussion of final production projects.
- Assessment System and Attendance Requirements: Attendance at sessions and weekly submission of tasks and assignments, with continuous assessment of assignments, production plans, and tests.
- Certificate and Graduation Project: The graduate is awarded the Professional Diploma in Mobile Journalism (MOJO) after completing and discussing the final graduation project: producing integrated professional media reports (idea, filming, audio recording, editing, and production) using only the smartphone.
