1. Program Overview:
An accredited professional and applied program extending over 3 months (80 hours of approved study load), aimed at defining the concept of reason, its nature, and its epistemological limits in the Islamic worldview, and qualifying researchers, preachers, and educators to possess the tools of critical thinking and the rules of logic and reasoning. The program covers Islamic epistemology and sources of knowledge, the issue of reason and revelation and epistemological integration, identifying and deconstructing formal and informal logical fallacies, critiquing contemporary intellectual doctrines such as relativism, materialism, and scientism, mastering the rules of debate and demonstrative argumentation, and practical applications in analyzing intellectual and media discourses and deconstructing contemporary misconceptions.
2. Key Objectives:
- Defining the concept and limits of reason: understanding the nature and functions of reason in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and philosophical and theological heritage, and defining the domains of its operation and the limitations of its cognitive capacity.
- Grounding Islamic epistemology: understanding the sources of knowledge and certainty (revelation, innate disposition, sense perception, and reason) and the methodology of reconciliation and integration between sound reason and authentic revelation.
- Identifying and deconstructing logical fallacies: mastering the diagnosis of formal and informal fallacies such as the straw man fallacy, appeal to ignorance, ad hominem, and begging the question in dialogues and debates.
- Critiquing imported intellectual propositions: employing logical and critical tools to analyze and refute the premises of New Atheism, utilitarianism, epistemological relativism, and excessive scientism.
- Mastering the arts of argumentation and debate: acquiring skills in sound rational reasoning, constructing coherent logical arguments, and managing intellectual dialogue efficiently and tactfully.
- Analyzing contemporary discourses: applying critical-thinking mechanisms in reading and deconstructing media and academic discourses and identifying methodological and conceptual contradictions.

5. Organizational Structure and Assessment System:
- Duration and sessions: 3 months (evening period), at a rate of two lectures per week, two hours per lecture = 48 interactive training hours.
- Language of study and delivery method: Arabic | fully remote interactive training (Online).
- Distribution of approved hours (80 hours):
· 48 hours: direct interactive lectures and study circles in intellectual critique.
· 14 hours: required readings and original references in thought, logic, and epistemology (Dar’ Ta‘arud al-‘Aql wa al-Naql, rules of logic, and critique of modern discourse).
· 6 hours: enrichment readings and contemporary critical and philosophical research.
· 6 hours: assignments and practical applications in deconstructing fallacies and analyzing dialogue texts.
· 6 hours: self-assessment questions, final review, and final completion examination.
- Attendance and assessment requirements: attendance of no less than 75% of the lectures, and completion of periodic assignments and critical analyses.
- Certificate and graduation project: the graduate is awarded a Professional Diploma in the Reality of Reason and the Most Important Rational Fallacies in the Islamic Worldview after passing the electronic examination (25 questions + 5 questions for analyzing and critiquing practical cases and fallacies) and optionally preparing a critical research paper that deconstructs the structure of intellectual fallacies in a contemporary book or discourse.
