Statistics and Psychological and Educational Measurement / Statistical Analysis with SPSS & AMOS Novera International University

 

1. Program Overview:

An advanced training and applied program extending over 3 months (80 hours of approved study load), aimed at providing researchers, postgraduate students, and academics with comprehensive practical skills for analyzing research data using SPSS 25 and AMOS 24. The program covers all stages of statistical processing, beginning with data management, coding, and formatting; parametric and non-parametric difference tests; analyses of variance and covariance (ANOVA, MANOVA & ANCOVA); linear and multiple regression analysis; through to exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis (EFA & CFA), Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), path analysis, mediating and moderating variables (Mediation & Moderation), and documenting tables and discussing results according to the American Psychological Association guide (APA 7th).


2. Key Objectives:

  •         Mastering data management and descriptive statistics: preparing and coding data files and verifying their efficiency and suitability for statistical application.
  •         Applying advanced difference and relationship tests: conducting difference tests (T-Tests), non-parametric difference tests, and univariate and multivariate analyses of variance (ANOVA & MANOVA) and covariance (ANCOVA).
  •         Mastering regression models and factor analysis: applying advanced multiple regression methods (Hierarchical & Stepwise), Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA).
  •         Building structural models using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM): using AMOS software to draw and analyze paths (Path Analysis), examine mediating and moderating variables, and adjust goodness-of-fit and model-fit indices.
  •         Formulating and discussing academic results: writing professional statistical reports, designing statistical tables, and interpreting results according to APA 7th standards.

5. Organizational Structure and Assessment System:

  •         Duration and schedule: 3 months (evening period), at a rate of two lectures per week, two hours per lecture = 25 lectures / 50 direct hours.
  •         Training language and delivery method: Arabic | fully remote interactive and applied training (Online).
  •         Distribution of credit hours (80 total hours):

·         50 hours: live lectures and interactive online applications.

·         20 hours: open readings and practical applications on data packages.

·         7 hours: chapter questions and self-assessment.

·         3 hours: final review and program completion examination.

  •         Assessment system and graduation project: continuous assessment through statistical applications and periodic results reports. The trainee is awarded a Diploma in Statistical Analysis for Scientific Research after completing the final graduation project, consisting of analyzing a complete research dataset and formulating and discussing the results and their tables according to APA 7th standards.
