1. Program Overview:

An integrated training and applied program extending over 3 months (80 hours of approved study load), aimed at preparing researchers and postgraduate students and providing them with scientific methodologies and modern technical tools to produce rigorous academic research suitable for international publication. The program covers the philosophy of science and research ethics, skills for identifying the problem and formulating hypotheses and objectives, critical reading and text analysis, systematic reviews (Systematic Review), quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodological designs, construction and standardization of data-collection tools, sampling and methodological control, exploratory statistical analysis, scientific documentation and APA 7th standards, skills for publication in peer-reviewed journals, through to employing artificial intelligence and modern software in scientific research.


2. Key Objectives

  •         Understanding the philosophy and methodology of scientific research: understanding the psychology of the researcher, ethics of scientific integrity, and the ability to critically analyze texts and previous literature.

  •         Mastering methodological design and tool construction: selecting appropriate research designs (quantitative, qualitative, mixed), conducting systematic reviews (Systematic Reviews), and constructing and standardizing data-collection tools (questionnaires, scales, observation cards).

  •         Statistical control and exploratory analysis: applying sampling and sample-selection skills, conducting descriptive and exploratory statistical treatments, and testing hypotheses.

  •         Academic writing, documentation, and international publication: mastering rigorous academic formulation, accurate documentation according to the latest editions of the American Psychological Association (APA 7th), and professionally dealing with the standards of review committees and indexed journals.

  •         Integrating artificial intelligence technologies and software: using modern digital tools and artificial intelligence applications to accelerate research processes, summarize references, and manage data effectively and with scientific integrity.

5. Organizational Structure and Assessment System:

  •         Duration and schedule: 3 months (evening period), at a rate of two lectures per week, two hours per lecture = 25 lectures / 50 direct hours.

  •         Training language and delivery method: Arabic | fully remote interactive and applied training (Online).

  •         Distribution of credit hours (80 total hours):

·         50 hours: live and interactive online lectures.

·         20 hours: open readings and practical applications on research models.

·         7 hours: chapter questions and self-assessment.

·         3 hours: final review and program completion examination.

  •         Assessment system and attendance requirements: attendance of no less than 75% of lectures, and continuous assessment including periodic assignments, methodological applications, and formulation of the research plan.

  •         Certificate and graduation project: the trainee is awarded a Diploma in Scientific Research Skills after completing and discussing the graduation project, consisting of: preparing an integrated research proposal (Research Proposal), field application, and project evaluation.
